With a 96% client retention rate throughout his career, Steve had seen firsthand what happens when homeowners are left alone to navigate a damage claim. Confusion, frustration, and settlements that fall far short of what they deserve. He built Roof Roof Direct to be the resource he always wished existed for the people he spent three decades serving. Based in the Greater Orlando area, Steve serves homeowners across all of Florida, and considers the mission personal.
Jason Fortenberry

Jason is the builder behind Roof Roof Direct, the marketing mind, the visual architect, and the technology driver who takes Steve's 25-year insurance vision and turns it into a platform Florida homeowners can actually find, trust, and use. Over 15 years across multiple industries, Jason has developed a rare combination of marketing instinct, design eye, and technical ability that lets him move fast and build things right. He joined forces with Steve because the Roof Roof Direct mission was exactly the kind of problem worth solving. A genuine gap between what homeowners need and what the market was giving them. Originally from New Orleans and now based in Tampa, Jason brings the same relentless drive to this platform that he's brought to everything he's touched. If it can be built better, marketed smarter, or designed cleaner, that's his lane.
Kyle Swanston

Kyle brings a sharp analytical mind and an athlete's discipline to the Roof Roof Direct team, a combination that turns the often overwhelming paperwork and documentation side of a home damage claim into a smooth, organized process for homeowners. A Finance graduate of James Madison University where he also competed as a Division I basketball player, Kyle carried his competitive drive from the court to professional basketball leagues around the world before bringing that same focus back home to Florida. He joined Roof Roof Direct because the mission made sense to him. Homeowners deserve someone in their corner who is organized, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in getting things right. A Brooksville native, Kyle understands firsthand what Florida homeowners face when storms hit close to home, and that when the paperwork is handled correctly, the rest of the process takes care of itself.
Patrick Scheidler

Patrick brings 20 years of hands-on roofing experience to the Roof Roof Direct team, giving homeowners direct access to the kind of field expertise that most advocacy programs simply don't have. With deep knowledge of how roofing projects are scoped, priced, and executed across Florida, Patrick helps ensure homeowners are never left in the dark about what their repair or replacement actually involves. He joined Roof Roof Direct because he believes homeowners deserve straight answers and honest guidance. Not pressure, not confusion, and not a system designed to work against them. A Central Florida native and single dad, Patrick's biggest motivation has always been doing right by the people who trust him.
